Meet your Beaumont orthodontists
Dr. Ronald Risinger founded this practice and still leads it with the same standard he set on day one. He earned his dental degree with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1988, after attending Lamar University right here in Beaumont. The U.S. Air Force selected him for advanced orthodontic training, and he earned a master’s degree and orthodontic specialty certificate from the University of North Carolina in 1996. He holds a faculty appointment at UTHealth School of Dentistry in Houston and lectures internationally. A proud Air Force veteran, he’s also given back locally as a member and president of the Orangefield ISD school board.
Dr. Avery Valls is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics who earned the highest score on the American Board of Orthodontics Written Examination in the history of her orthodontic residency. She completed her training at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston and is fluent in Spanish, which adds an extra layer of comfort for many of our families. She’s also the area’s only female orthodontist.
Dr. Dane Risinger graduated Salutatorian of his dental school class and served as Chief Resident of his orthodontic residency at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. Becoming an orthodontist and caring for patients in the community he was raised in has been his lifelong dream, and he’s continuing the legacy his dad started here in Beaumont.

- Clear aligners. Invisalign, Smilers, and in-house aligners that are nearly invisible and removable. Great for teens and adults who want a discreet option.
- Carriere Motion System. A comfortable appliance that can shorten treatment time by guiding the bite before braces or aligners.
- Retainers. Essix and fixed retainers to protect your results for the long run.
We also use CBCT digital scanning, intraoral scanners, and 3D printing so your care is precise and your impressions are comfortable.
